Atlas Renewable Energy has signed a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) with chemical producer Unipar for its 239MW solar project in Pirapora, Minas Gerais, Brazil. According to the agreement, Unipar will purchase power from the lar do sol Casablanca II solar project to power its two manufacturing plants. Atlas will develop, build and operate the project using bifacial solar modules, covering an area of 700 hectares per month.
