The Ohio power siting board (OPSB) has approved the construction of two solar projects in the state, one with a capacity of 577MW and the other with a capacity of 150MW. Local media reported that the 577MW Fox Squirrel Solar Energy Project will be located in Oak Run, Pleasant and Range Townships in Madison County. The project developer expects that the project will be connected to the grid by the end of 2022; The 150 MW Powell Creek Solar Project was built by Powell Creek solar.
