Dharmendra Kumar, an analyst at IHS Markit, said that Southeast Asia is driven by attractive incentive measures such as on grid electricity price, net metering electricity price and auction mechanism based on electricity price. In the next five years, new solar capacity to be installed will reach 27GW.
