EDF Renouvelables, EDF's renewable energy unit, will provide SNCF Energie, a subsidiary of SNCF voyagers, with 20MW of electricity generated by a power plant in La Chapelle, under a 20-year PPA. The company itself is part of SNCF, the French railway operator, and the construction of the solar power plant will start this year and is scheduled to go into operation in 2023, according to the joint statement of the two companies.
