Groenlevene, a Dutch solar project developer, is a subsidiary of Baywa re, has completed the construction of two floating photovoltaic power plants with a total capacity of 70.9MW in the Netherlands. The two facilities, with capacity of 41.1MW and 29.8MW, are built on sand extraction lakes in the former areas of Groningen and sellin in heldland.

The first project, which started in late May, is currently the largest operating floating photovoltaic array in Europe.
