Ningbo Raytech New Energy Materials Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Raytech), with its multiple double-glazed modules, made its debut at All-Energy Australia 2019 held as scheduled on October 23 to October 25 (local time) in Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, Australia.

In terms of light resources, Australia ranks first in the world, with over 80% of the ground lighting intensity exceeding 2,000 kw/m2/h. Sparsely populated and desertified, the vast area of central Australia is suitable for large-scale development and utilization of solar energy, which indicates that its solar power generation market enjoys huge potential.


Australia is one of the world’s most developed areas for PV development. The first PV system in Australia was installed in 2001, the subsidies for PV were launched in 2009, and the installed PV capacity of Australia totaled 11.28GW by the end of 2018. During the 18 years, the Australian PV market has gradually undergone several stages, such as carrying out preliminary trials, focusing on household use, and rapidly developing PV products. Now the market ushers in the best era.


With the surge in installed capacity, Australia has seen substantial overseas investment and favorable employment rate. However, the local supply chain in Australia is incomplete. Only a tiny fraction of important PV system modules are equipped with local production lines, while most of them rely on imports, especially for PV products from China.

Raytech showed multiple double-glazed modules with excellent performance at this exhibition, including 10% transparent monocrystalline, 40% transparent monocrystalline and porcelain-white series double-glazed modules. Such modules feature different light transmittances, satisfying the needs of various distributed power stations such as Australian sunshine houses and villa roofs. By virtue of ensuring the daylighting and the high-efficiency power generation, these products are well received by the local people.

Raytech also demonstrated two kinds of high-performance double-glazed modules:

Black PERC monocrystalline module with half-cell design: its 1500V system enjoys low BOS cost; its half-cell design features low battery connection loss and less effect of shadow shielding; it delivers a good performance in crack resistance and PID resistance, without any risk of snail trails; its frameless design allows self-cleaning of snow cover or dust;

Bifacial PERC module with 10% transparent monocrystalline design: its bifacial power generation design allows an increase of 10%-30% in power generation; it features high power output per unit area and low BOS cost; it enjoys low LID, low temperature coefficient, and excellent low-light performance;

Raytech will continue providing customers with superior products and services, and play an active role in the development of ground PV projects in Australia, with the aim to propel further development of Australian new energy market and create greater value for new energy customers and investors in Australia.
