Bundesnetzagentur announced the results of the second specific bid for solar technology in 2021. The scale of the system exceeded 750kW, the bidding capacity of 510MW was oversubscribed, and 242 bids reached 1.13GW.

It finally selected 95 bids to award 513MW solar capacity, and the project with a maximum capacity of 233MW will be located in Bavaria. The highest and lowest bid prices recorded by the agency ranged from € 0.0469 to € 0.0509 per kWh, with an average bid price of € 0.05 per kWh, lower than € 0.0503 per kWh for the first technology specific bid in 2021.

Bundesnetzagentur also announced the results of the country's first bid for roof solar energy. These projects need to be completed and put into operation within 12 months. The tender was also oversubscribed by 168 tenders with a tender capacity of 213MW, compared with 150MW.
