Recently, the Russian national energy regulatory agency JSC ATS announced the results of its eighth round of large-scale renewable energy auction. A total of 775 MW of photovoltaic capacity was allocated in the auction. 

The capacity of 18 winning solar power generation projects ranged from 8.47 MW to 60 MW, of which 9 facilities chose to connect into the grid before December 1, 2023, The remaining 9 will be launched before December 1, 2024.
